From about the beginning of December, there’s a Christmas Market around the Cathedral in Exeter.
We like to visit and start by finding something to eat, be it Nepali street food or a Devon hog roast. Then you can enjoy the tastings (Salcombe Gin, Chocolate Wine….) and maybe find some presents. Chocolate made in the Southwest, soaps made in Devon, charms, fairies, jewelry, scarves, even a whole stall of Russian dolls!
Here are some images…
The quayside in Exeter makes a lovely evening stroll too. We often leave the car that side of the river and walk into town. On the way back we watch the swans gathered by the bank.
