#30DaysWild What a creature! Probably a dark bush cricket. Look closely and you’ll see it’s a bit damp, having been rescued from a hot tub by Balebarn Lodge. Random Act of Wildness No. 17.
This one is probably a male, as the female bush cricket has a ‘horn’ for laying eggs. They are common enough in the grassland around the Wheatland Farm lodges, but worth fishing out of the hot tub and sending on its way all the same!
