#30DaysWild No. 4. Foxgloves

#30DaysWild 4th June – June means foxgloves, and they look all the better in today’s on/off rain.

Shame about the weather, but it can’t be sunny in Devon every day. What’s more, the house martins will be finding mud. A pair have been trialling a nest above the back door of Wheatland Farmhouse. We’re not sure whether they will stay, but we’ve got our fingers crossed! More on this if they do… We often see house martins in later summer, along with swallows, but they haven’t nested at Wheatland Farm before – not while we’ve been here anyway (13 years now).
