Time to give the orchard mowing machine a bit of summer maintenance… She’ll be more comfortable like this. We need to keep the orchard mown as part if our HLS agreement, and this is the least fuel intensive option. Plus at the end of the year we get a freezer full of meat. If that sounds a bit harsh, well bear in mind that this is a ewe that’s no longer fit for breeding because of a mastitis problem. This way she gets another season of retirement before the inevitable.
