Plovers Barrow Thatched Cottage nr Wheatland Farm , Devon

Plovers' Barrow is a charming thatched cottage at the end of Wheatland Farm's drive. It's owner, Ian Walker, has asked us to manage it for him this year. So you get all the facilities Wheatland Farm offers - like scones on arrival, beds made up, bikes, badminton, fishing, and of course our wonderful wildlife. Plovers' Barrow Cottage is a step back to a more peaceful and slower-paced time. It hasn't been modernised (no telly - but you can watch a DVD, and no broadband - but you can wander down the drive to our WiFi), and it also doesn't yet have all the eco features Wheatland Farm's own accommodation has. But we're moving things in the right direction with energy saving measures, wildlife improvements, and of course our usual recycling facilities. Plovers' Barrow Cottage is the most private of all our accommodation and is perfect for a genuine Devon get away.

Sleeps 4-5 in two large bedrooms, one a double the other a twin with an extra fold out single bed.
