A great Devon pub for your self catering weekend or short break
The Earl of Portsmouth, also in Chawleigh, is a former coaching stop between Barnstaple and London. The original thatched building burnt down in 1869, but was rebuilt by the Estate owner, the Earl of Portsmouth.
