Planning the food for your holiday? Try the wonderful Devon village pubs, farmers' markets and farm shops near our lodges and cottage.
You'll get a warm welcome and fabulous food and drink, whether it's a Devon cream tea, hearty local bangers and mash, or something more sophisticated.
Our guests always rave about the Kings Arms in the village. Chris and Julia welcome families as well as dogs. They do cream teas, and a great menu.
Or just get a beer or a coffee and read the paper. There are board games to entertain the bored. For off peak short breaks, we can sometimes arrange to run you down there for an evening meal and pick you up again afterwards. Relax with a pint without worrying about driving the 1.5 miles back to the farm. Ask when you book. The telephone number for the pub is 01837 83384.
The Grove Inn, 8 miles away at Kings Nympton, scooped the title of North Devon's best pub in the North Devon Food and Drinks Awards twice in the last 10 years. Telephone 01769 580 406
