The Dartmoor National Parks Authority organise guided walks - here are some close to our self-catering accommodation during November 2011. Please note, unfortunately you can't take your dog on these walks.
There's only one reasonably close to the farm in November 2011:
On Sunday 13 November a 5.5hr Remembrance Sunday walk sets off from King's Oven at 10:00. Visit a moorland war memorial via grimspound, Hameldown and Chalacombe. Walk distance 6.5m/10.5km. You'll need to be fit and well equipped. Costs £9. Turn up and pay the guide, T Burges. Meet at map reference SX 675 810, 100m NE of the Warren House Inn on the B3212 Postbridge-Moretonhampstead road (you can't miss the inn). It's about 26 miles from your Devon self catering accommodation.
