Great cycling in Devon

Around us are rides and routes for all abilities. From exhilarating biking across Dartmoor and Exmoor, to a challenge more suited to your newly-pedalling preschooler, there's cycling in Devon for everyone. If you just want to potter or are looking for a family ride away from traffic there's plenty of great country to see, or if you are seeking an adrenalin inducing MTB challenge there are forests with single tracks, jumps and more! .

Hire a bike - let us take the hassle out of cycling on your holiday. We can put you in touch with a local bike company who will deliver hire bikes to your accommodation.
Bikes are a great way to explore Devon. Bring your own, hire bikes through our partner hire company, or for local rides, borrow a bike from us. We have a bike lock-up, cleaning space, a drying room and loads of ideas on where to go locally. We can also help with bike maintenance, punctures and the like should you need it. And if you arrive on bike without a car, we can collect you from Eggesford station.

You'll get a professionally maintained lightweight bike with a comfort saddle and 'puncture-proofed' tyres. All the bikes come with a backpack containing a helmet, lock, lights and maps.
After your ride, we'll provide secure storage, somewhere to clean up, and if the weather has been unkind, a drying room for your kit.

If you want more information, let us know when you book.

Point to point, or one-way routes
Or if you, or part of your group, want a point to point ride (a one-way route), our partner company (Ride on Southwest) will arrange a  delivery and collection service for hired bikes (charges based on distance from the depot but very reasonable). Your bikes will be left at your chosen start point before you get there. You release the combination lock then ride away! Whether it's a gentle and traffic-free family pedal down the Granite Way or a challenging ride across Dartmoor, at the end of the day, all you need to do is relock the bike and someone else will take care of the collection, the cleaning and the maintenance!
