More snow...
I've been looking up the old field names. The big pasture is called Lower Newland Moor - and here's the view of the gate in the snow.
I was wrong about the couple of days bit - more snow, more forecast for tonight as well.... The picture above is looking towards Winkleigh Wood from the far side of Popehouse Moor.
There was even enough snow for the boys to make an igloo. In all my childhood I never had that much snow - not all to myself.... Acres of it - and time off school to play!
