I always like to see Canada geese on the ponds. They turn up, sometimes in sizable parties, stay a few days, then move on. This week a pair have been hanging around. I don't suppose they'll stay and breed, but it would be nice. They'd be pretty safe from the foxes on the island. Here's hoping!
