Barn owl at dusk!...
OK, it's not great footage, but like yesterday it was great to watch, and really close - the bar you sometimes see at the bottom of the frame is the lodge balcony. Please forgive the camera shake when the owl comes out almost directly below the camera. For a moment I wondered if it was going to land right in front of me.
Washed out colours because of the poor light, wind noise, camera shake - but never mind, you'll still get the idea. This clip is really for my Dad anyway, who has advised about management for barn owls here, put up a box for us (lets hope they use it)and will, I'm sure, be delighted to see my amateurish shots.
